Chloe Ferry’s lover’s new café has been slammed by angry punters for serving “charcoal” sausages, “uncooked” black pudding and eggs with “shell” in.
Ex-Geordie Shore star’s fella Alex Swinney has recently opened the doors to his new business, Oat & Olive.
The venue is actually named after Chloe’s controversial pet, which landed the 30-year-old in hot water with PETA.

Chloe has referred to the café as the pair’s “future” but she might want to hold back the enthusiasm if recent reviews are anything to go by.
From distasteful food to “terrible service”, it seems the business hasn’t had the smoothest of starts since opening on 3 July, as reported by Need To Know,
One fuming customer said: “Very disappointed. Waited an hour for food, had to ask when it was coming.

“The sausage was black with charcoal; the black pudding was uncooked.
“My wife asked for no onions as she was allergic but hers arrived full of them.
“Sorry but won’t be back.”
Someone else added: “I ordered flat white and my partner had black Americano, followed by steak and eggs for Simon and salmon pouched eggs sourdough.
“I ended up having latte instead of flat white, it has way too much milk.
“Steak and salmon were lovely but eggs were overcooked on both of our meals and I found shell in mine.
“No check up.”

Another guest said: “The steak on the ‘Steak and Eggs’ was tasty, but only came with one egg.
“The full breakfast was underwhelming.
“It is styled for Instagram but needs to focus a lot more on customer service and reliably good quality food if it is to take off.”
A fourth customer added: “Visited with my auntie this afternoon.
“35 minutes for a coffee that was average.
“Terrible service.

“Lots of hype about this place by sheer association to a supposed influencer.”
Oat and Olive is located on Market Street, Alnwick, Northumberland.
The business also features a five-guest penthouse upstairs that is available to rent on Airbnb.
A weekend stay from 10-13 Jul would usually cost £453 for one guest, but a current promotion takes it down to just £363.
Although the business has been hit with negative reviews, many customers admitted that it is new and hoped the teething problems would be dealt with.
One customer said: “This place is new, so lots of allowance made, but there are many issues to resolve.”

Someone else said: “It’s definitely improved the street look – we visit Alnwick once a month and we were looking forward to trying it but found it severely lacking with lots of online hype.”
The café got the inspiration for its name from Chloe’s dog Olive, who Alex bought for her after her previous dog Ivy passed away.
The reality TV star has labelled the French bulldog the “face behind the business”.
This comes after the choice of breed landed Chloe in hot water with PETA who slammed the purchase of flat-faced dogs.

The charity stated that the animals “struggle to just breathe, let alone live a happy and healthy life”.
Representatives urged the star to adopt homeless animals in the future.
After sharing a post of her puppy on Instagram, PETA commented: “Your boyfriend needs to rethink this.
“French bulldogs struggle to just breathe, let alone live a happy and healthy life.
“Buying one neglects the tens of thousands of homeless dogs in shelters just waiting to be adopted.
“Tell him to adopt next time.”
Jam Press has approached Oat & Olive for a comment.
