The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said detectives determined his death was an apparent suicide, as reported by Need To Know.
Mykee had been reported missing after he was last seen on Sunday at around 12.30pm leaving the 14200 block of Southwest 161st Court in Miami.
Police had appealed for information about his whereabouts before confirming the tragic discovery.
The professional dancer had built a large social media following, with almost 80,000 followers across Instagram and TikTok, where he shared rehearsal footage, backstage moments and clips from international tours.

He was best known for performing during Rosalía’s acclaimed Motomami Tour, appearing alongside the Spanish singer on stage and in behind-the-scenes content shared online.
Mykee also toured extensively with Puerto Rican star Rauw Alejandro, performing during his Saturno and Cosa Nuestra tours, as well as appearing in the music video for the singer’s 2024 hit Touching the Sky.
Throughout his career, he also worked with a string of major artists including Rihanna, Daddy Yankee, The Weeknd, Tainy and Chesca.
Rauw Alejandro, who had earlier shared a missing persons appeal after authorities asked the public for help locating Mykee, later paid tribute to his longtime friend on Instagram.
He wrote: “So many things left to say, so many unfinished thoughts.
“Eight years of sharing stages by your side. It has been a blessing, a privilege and an honour to have known you in this life.

“Your smile and your light will always be in my heart.
“We’ll keep dancing, laughing and singing in the next one.
“Rest in peace my brother. We love you.”
Following his death, friends launched a GoFundMe campaign to help support Mykee’s family and cover the costs of a celebration of his life.
The organisers described his passing as “sudden and unexpected”, saying he had touched countless lives through his kindness, generosity and dedication to the dance community.
They added that any additional funds raised would go to his family, who plan to support men’s mental health awareness and the dance community in Mykee’s honour.

Mykee’s partner, Tiffany A. Suarez, also shared an emotional tribute on Instagram.
She wrote: “I can’t even begin to describe the pain I am feeling. My best friend. My person. The love of my life.”
Describing him as “the best person I have ever known”, she said he was kind, generous and brilliant, adding that he had brought “so much colour” into her life.
Tiffany called Mykee her “soul mate” and said: “I never thought I would live a life without him. I will forever be deeply inspired by him… My world. My everything. My sweet love. I love you immensely, babe.”
