Baffling images show how a car ended up vertical after its driver somehow failed to spot an enormous sinkhole.
The saloon-type motor and its driver plunged into the wide crater on Friday night (5 April).
Images taken at the scene show how the car’s bonnet crumpled after hitting the bottom of the hole.

The sinkhole is so deep that the car is near vertical as its back wheels rest on the cavity’s edge.
According to witnesses, the motorist only sustained minor injuries.
He was reportedly seen by medics, as reported on Need To Know.
A tow truck had to be called in to remove the damaged vehicle from the scene in Mesquita, Brazil.
According to the local authorities, a signpost had been put up alerting road users to the danger.
However, someone had removed the warning sign ahead of the accident, they allege.
The local authorities have launched a process for the road’s repair, which is reportedly in its final stages.
They say the sinkhole appeared because of an iron pipeline installed by the Rio de Janeiro State Government about 30 years ago.
The Mesquita Infrastructure and Public Services Department said: “This pipeline has been giving way during torrential rains, such as the ones that occurred between the evening of 13 January and the early hours of the 14th, when 241 mm of rain were recorded in the neighbourhood.”
