A teacher has been shot dead by a hitman in front of dozens of students at a high school.
Julio César Pacheco Pimentel was blasted by the gunman who posed as a process server delivering court papers to bypass the school’s security.
The tragic teacher, 56, was called to the door to sign for the document.

The suspect then chillingly told him: “Here is your little gift”.
He then shot him three times at the entrance.
Dozens of students were mingling in the nearby reception area at the time.
Pacheco was killed on the spot at the Julio C. Tello Educational Institution in Ate near the Peruvian capital Lima on Monday (14 Oct) afternoon.
A police spokesperson said: “The victim was called to the door to sign for a package when he was shot him three times right through the gate.”
Following the alleged shooting, a group of parents, students and teachers staged a protest outside the school to demand justice for Pacheco’s death.
One mother told local media: “We want justice for the teacher, it cannot be left like this.
“He worked at the school since 2022, he was my daughter’s tutor.
“It is such a shame that this happened to a good teacher.”
The school suspended all classes for three days following Pacheco’s passing, as reported by Need To Know.
Police spokesperson Daniel Jares said the gunman, who arrived at the school on a motorbike with an accomplice, has been identified from the CCTV cameras in the area.
Agents are still trying to track the suspect down.
According to a statement from the Ministry of the Interior, Pacheco’s widow said he had been receiving threats from several family members over a land dispute.
The statement added: “Everything seems to indicate that the motive for the crime is related to this family dispute.”
The investigation continues.
