Uber driver Sajid Chaudhary captured the incident and said he was left stunned by what he witnessed.
The clip has since gone viral online, racking up more than 85,000 views and over 2,000 likes.
“It was very unexpected and dangerous, and it could have easily caused an accident,” Sajid, from Birmingham, told NeedToKnow.
“I was shocked when I saw this happening and immediately pointed it out to my passenger, telling them to look at what the driver was doing.
“We were both surprised and concerned, especially as it’s a busy area with a footpath nearby.
“Thankfully, no pedestrians were walking there at the time.”
The footage was filmed on Chester Road in Erdington on 18 March.
Sajid said: “The road is divided into two sides for oncoming traffic, with a grass central reservation and a raised kerb in the middle.

“The driver came from the opposite side of the road and suddenly made a U-turn by driving over the raised curb and across the grass.
“He then continued at speed and drove onto the curb on the other side of the road.”
Viewers were left horrified by the dangerous stunt.
One person said: “That’s normal behaviour nowadays.”

Another user added: “Absolutely nothing happens to these drivers. It’s always innocent people injured or killed.”
A third person wrote: “Nothing new in Brum.”

One viewer said: “Birmingham is lawless.”
Another person added: “That’s terrible no consideration for anybody walking.”
