A cruel man has been arrested after he was caught on camera picking up his stepdaughter’s dog and slamming it to the floor.
The footage shows him following the frightened pooch down the stairs before grabbing it by the collar as it tried to wriggle free.
He then, with both hands, hurled it down onto the hard floor.

The dog went rigid as he lifted it again by the collar and carried it into the lift.
A resident of the block of flats called police after hearing the dog whimpering in the lobby on Tuesday (14 April) night.
Officers arrived at the scene in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and identified Gonzalo Calderón from CCTV footage.
As of yesterday (16 April) morning, Calderón, 46, remained in custody, charged with animal abuse and cruelty.
The dog, which was found frightened and limping, has since been returned to its owner, as reported by Need To Know.
María Verónica, the resident who called police, told local media: “I saw the footage and I couldn’t believe what had happened. It was horrific.
“I went up to the fifth floor, where this man lives. I wanted to check whether he had sadly killed the dog or not. I didn’t have much hope that it was okay.”
She reported knocking on the door and forcing it open, where she saw the dog “trembling” and said she would report Calderón.
Calderón faces a suspended sentence of up to one year and a ban on owning animals, according to local media.
