After talking to each other for a few minutes, they break the window, allowing them to enter the property in Encino, Los Angeles, California.

According to Dorit, the two men, who were wearing dark hoodies and had covered their faces, then confronted her and threatened to kill her.

As she pleaded for her life and the lives of her two young children, she complied with their demands and told them where they could find valuables.

The men took handbags, jewellery and watches, wrapping them in bedding before leaving the house.

The security footage shows the men dragging the bundle outside the house.

They met with a third suspect and all the suspects fled in a black four-door pickup truck.

Police said the suspects were three black men, between 20-30 years of age, wearing black hoodies and dark trousers.

Dorit’s husband Paul later released a statement about the incident.
