A family-of-four died from suspected carbon monoxide poisoning after leaving a gas heater on that may have been faulty.
Floriana Bautista Obispo, Luis Bautista Hernández, and their two young sons were found dead on Wednesday (17 Jan).
Luis’s brother had gone to their home, which neighbours had noticed was giving off a strong smell of gas.
Inside, he’d come across the grim scene of the parents and children lying passed out on the floor.

A neighbour told local media: “I was with my kids, and his brother came all worked up.
“Telling me his brother wouldn’t wake up, he had foam in his mouth, it scared me a lot.
“We went and moved the man, he was stiff. I ran out, the child was lying on the floor.
“We called another neighbour, and we realised it was gas.
“We opened all the windows, and the forensic team arrived.”
Civil Defence workers arrived on the scene in Juárez near Monterrey, Mexico.
But they could only pronounce the parents, both aged 30, and their young boys dead.
The latter have been named as Luis, aged three, and two-year-old Fernando.
The authorities say their heater was connected to a leaky gas outlet.
The four may have died hours before they were found.
The couple hailed from El May near Tanlajás and had been married for more than seven years.
They’d moved to the Monterrey area in search of work before the birth of their kids.
Luis Sr worked for a local maintenance company, while his wife ran a snack food business.
