A brutal gang filmed themselves attacking workers at a butcher’s shop for refusing to pay their ‘protection’ demands, leaving two dead and four injured.

The horror footage shows one of the gunmen walking up to the entrance before firing bullets.

He appears to be joined by at least one other accomplice.

A worker is seen fleeing from the shop as the filming gunman turns his attention to him.

He fires two shots at the fleeing butcher before heading back to the street.

According to reports, four members of The Satans gang carried out the attack in the area of Kennedy in the Colombian capital Bogotá in the early hours of yesterday (7 Mar)

They arrived at the scene on two motorbikes and allegedly killed two workers while injuring four others.

One of the deceased has been identified as store owner José Arquímedes Bueno, 58, who was killed at the scene.

The other victim died in hospital hours after the attack.

The four injured workers remain hospitalised, some with serious injuries.

The suspects left a note explaining that the shop owners refused to pay their ‘protection’ fees.

The note read: “These are the consequences for not heeding the call we made to you.

“And all because you did not reach a dialogue with us, and if you do not support us, that is pay the sums demanded, we are not going to let you work, we will kill your employees.”

The note was signed by suspected members of the gang The Satans.

One day before the alleged attack, local media reported that numerous traders in the area were being threatened by the extortion gang.

An investigation into the attack is ongoing.
