A trucker and his passenger were miraculously unscathed after their tanker was gobbled up by a 40ft sinkhole in less than 10 seconds.
CCTV footage shows how the HGV inches forward but suddenly jolts to a halt as a hole opens up beneath the rear wheels.
The freshly-opened sinkhole appears, at first, to be shallow.

However, the back of the lorry begins sinking deeper and deeper as its front wheels lift off the ground.
The vacuum tanker ends up vertical with its nose pointing to the sky as it continues sinking into the ground.
The cab is nearly at street level when one of the men makes a hasty escape and is helped by a passerby.
The astonishing scenes unfolded on Friday (20 Sept) in Pune, south-east of Mumbai, India.
The lorry had been sent to the scene to repair sewage pipes near a hotel, according to reports.
Two parked motorbikes were also swallowed up by the sinkhole.
Luckily, neither the lorry driver nor his passenger were harmed, as reported by Need To Know.
The fire brigade was dispatched to the scene and the vehicle was pulled from the sinkhole hours later with the help of two cranes.
Dr Rajendra Bhosale of the Pune Municipal Corporation stated: “The news was that it was not on any public road but on the postal premises, wherein there was an old well earlier, and it has now been covered with slab.
“Since this drainage vehicle is heavy, this incident happened.
“Now it has been removed with the help of two cranes. Investigation will be done. No injuries reported.”
