Two men have been caught with more than 7,000 ecstasy pills after a high-speed chase at a popular tourist hotspot.
The film-like drama unfolded in the early hours of yesterday (17 Jun) morning in Benidorm, Spain.
Patrolling police signalled for the men to stop their car.

The pair ignored the order and sped off, prompting the officers to give chase.
The high-speed pursuit came to a dramatic end when the suspects crashed their car into a traffic sign.
The collision caused heavy damage to the front of the vehicle, rendering it inoperable.
The pair climbed out and fled on foot but were caught just yards away, as reported by Need To Know.

Inside the white Peugeot which turned out to be a rental vehicle – officers found a bag containing 7,240 ecstasy tablets.
They have a UK street value of up to £72,400.
It weighed nearly 1.5kg (3lb 5oz), according to the Spanish National Police.
The suspects – who are both 35 – were arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking.
The police are withholding their names and nationalities but have revealed that one has a criminal record.

Officers also seized €680 (£581) in cash, several mobile phones, and a can of pepper spray.
Among the seized phones was a satellite mobile, possibly used to avoid geolocation.
Both men have been hauled before the Benidorm Duty Court for further proceedings.
No pedestrians or other road users were harmed during the pursuit.
