A ‘fake doctor’ will face trial over the death of an influencer who died after a botched butt injection.
Aline Maria Ferreira, 33, underwent the procedure on 23 June last year.
The mum-of-two fell ill the next day and was rushed to hospital by her husband, suffering dizzy spells and severe tummy pains after reportedly receiving 30ml of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) in each buttock.

Aline, who had over 54,000 social media followers, was rushed to hospital in Brasília on 29 June and tragically died from a heart attack on 2 July – just 10 days after the operation in Goiânia, as reported by Need To Know.

Her mother said: “My daughter was healthy, she was fine.
“Because she had done so many procedures there, she completely trusted the clinic owner.
“I want justice, justice has to be done.”
The clinic owner, Grazielly da Silva Barbosa, presented herself as a biomedical scientist on social media but reportedly had no formal training.

She is accused of using a product of dubious origin imported from Paraguay, which she allegedly mixed with oil before the procedure.
Investigators found the clinic had no medical records and carried out no tests to check whether patients were suitable for procedures.
The operation reportedly cost £412.50 (BRL 3,000).
The Goiás court ruled that Grazielly must stand trial.

Judge Jesseir Coelho de Alcântara said there is “sufficient material evidence against the defendant and clear indications of responsibility”.
Grazielly has been charged with aggravated homicide, illegal practice of medicine, and crimes against consumers.
She will remain under house arrest until a trial date is confirmed.
