Exotic animals including wild cats and zebras are in need of new homes after a zoo went bust, blaming hard times.
The wildlife park is closing on Friday (10 Oct) after 17 years of caring for British native and non-native animals.
The zoo promised all its animals would be rehomed safely and responsibly, fully complying with animal welfare rules.

Locals to Axe Valley Wildlife Park, near Axminster, were left heartbroken by the news.
And the announcement comes just days after the owner of Paignton Zoo in nearby Torbay also put their business on the market, citing financial pressures, as reported by Need To Know.
A statement from Axe Valley Wildlife Park read: “We are not the only business facing these difficult times.

“Unfortunately, it has become financially unviable for us to continue operating.
“When we opened our gates 17 years ago, we could never have imagined the wonderful journey ahead, the thousands of amazing visitors, school trips, and loyal members who became part of our zoo family.
“We are so proud of the wide variety of animals we’ve cared for over the years, each one holding a special place in our hearts.
“We also want to take this moment to thank our incredible staff and volunteers, past and present, who have worked tirelessly with love, dedication, and passion to care for our animals and welcome our visitors.
“We truly couldn’t have done it without you.”
The park added that members holding active subscriptions would be eligible for refunds, and thanked visitors for making the past 17 years unforgettable.

Locals shared their sadness online.
One said: “Absolutely devastating to read this.
“I’m so sorry.
“Both my children had their first birthdays there.

“We regularly held yearly tickets and loved seeing all the animals.
“This place has given us lifetime memories and more.
“We will miss our visits and all the lovely animals.
“Thank you all for giving us these experiences and wishing you all the best.”
Another said: “Words fail me.
“What state is this country in?
“Obviously you can get no financial help, we seem to be shelling out millions on totally unnecessary things and it’s making the lovely venues like yourself impossible to continue.
“So many happy memories visiting you which will stay in our hearts forever.
“You have given us many enjoyable days out and we are all devastated that this will not continue.”
