A judge has landed herself in hot water over her “suggestive and provocative” TikTok dances.
But Judge Marienela Cabrera Mosquera accused the disciplinary committee of attacking her out of “chauvinism”.
As well as presiding over a courtroom, the 47-year-old uploads “three or four videos a week” on TikTok for her 686,000 fans.

She said: “It doesn’t take me long; there are some videos I do while driving to the Palace of Justice; I write something, record them in the car, and upload them.
“I do it on the weekends too.”
However, the National Commission of Judicial Discipline has launched proceedings against the dancing judge for her alleged “suggestive and provocative actions”.
Magistrate Manuel Enrique Flórez released a report confirming the charges against Marienela, who comes from Florencia in southern Colombia.
The report said 48 videos containing “images of her body parts” were found on her TikTok page.

It also accused Marienela of filming scenes in the Municipal Criminal Court 01 and the Criminal Court of the Circuit of Adolescents in her home city of Florencia.
The official was seen “showing off parts of her body not covered by her clothes, such as the pectoral region”, according to the report.
In addition, it suggested that she positioned herself in such a way that she brought attention to certain parts of her body, “such as her buttocks”.
As such, the disciplinary commission has accused her of transgressing “into the sensual, which is questionable for a judicial servant”.
The panel believes that she failed to show “modesty and decorum as a judicial servant” and that her actions have negatively impacted their public image.
Marienela responded to the report on her TikTok channel, as reported by Need To Know.
She said: “In addition to being sexist, chauvinistic and misogynistic, it is truly repugnant, delusional, and incoherent”.
She also described Magistrate Flórez as a “moralist”.
According to her, Flórez claimed that her “videos and posts are suggestive and provocative without indicating what it is that provokes him”.
She added: “I would like to know what my posts might provoke or suggest to a man nearing 70 years of age, what dark thoughts might come to his mind.”
The disciplinary action is ongoing.
