An influencer made bone broth with the ribs she had removed in a cosmetic procedure – causing alarm and disbelief.
Adea Danielle, known online as Adea, told how she had some ribs removed to achieve a tiny “wasp waist”.
The content creator, who has 1.7m TikTok fans, said she froze her removed ribs for six months before deciding to consume them in a broth.

The unbelievable video showing her sampling soup made from her own bones went viral, with 16.8m views and 12,000 comments.
Adea is first seen wearing a post-operative corset, which she says is part of her recovery process after the operation.
She then holds up a bag of small bones while telling her fans: “Let’s make some bone broth with my own ribs.
“I haven’t opened this bag of ribs in six months.”
The influencer, who also speaks French and is based in Canada, is then seen boiling the bones and leaving them to simmer.
“After hours of cooling in the fridge, we have a highly concentrated bone broth,” she says.
“Bone broth has a lot of vitamins and is really good for the gut health.”
After taking a sip, she adds: “This tastes like chicken.”
Shocked viewers could not believe their eyes.
One fan said: “Please tell me it’s not real!”

Another fan remarked: “They’re not pork ribs, they’re hers, she even said so herself in the video.”
“Human ribs are bigger than that – those are ribs from an animal,” added Hannah.

After the footage went viral, medical specialists warned about the risks associated with this type of surgery.
Dr. Manuel Gómez Villar said: “The ribs protect vital organs such as the heart, lungs, and kidneys – and along with the intercostal muscles, they are essential for breathing and lung capacity.
“It’s a very difficult surgery to perform precisely because of the risks involved.”
Adea previously admitted that she often chooses not to disclose the fact that she’s transgender to potential boyfriends, as reported by Need To Know.
She explained: “There’s so much judgment around the trans label and if a guy were to learn that I’m trans before, he would make up a whole idea of how I am and how I must act.”

Adea, who underwent hormone therapy and gender-affirming surgery in 2021, added: “I want him to get to know me – so I just tell them when I’m interested and when I want to take things further.
“Guys often comment ‘Oh you’re lying to men’, but then how can they say I’m lying if I present myself as a woman?
“They’re basically saying I’m a man.”
