She was rushed to a local hospital but later died from her injuries.
Nancy, 45, had built a sizeable following online, amassing more than 100,000 followers and subscribers across her social media platforms.
Of Punjabi origin, she was known not only for her music but also for her outspoken views on India-Canada relations.
She frequently courted controversy with her staunch opposition to the Khalistan movement, which seeks to establish an independent Sikh homeland in the Punjab region.

As well as criticising separatist figures, she regularly commented on issues affecting the local Sikh community, including alleged illegal activities in some gurdwaras and attacks on Hindu temples.
She also challenged certain practices within sections of the Sikh community, drawing sharp backlash from some who accused her of disrespecting religious traditions.
Others, however, applauded her for confronting separatism and what they viewed as extremism, as reported by Need To Know.
New Delhi has repeatedly described Canada as a safe haven for Khalistani extremists.

Ottawa, for its part, has accused Indian agents of orchestrating the 2023 assassinations of Sikh separatists Hardeep Singh Nijjar and Sukhdool Singh Gill on Canadian soil.
Nancy described herself online as a “single, independent woman”.
Police have not disclosed a suspected motive, and it remains unclear whether her killing was politically motivated.
The LaSalle Police Service offered its “deepest sympathies” to Nancy’s family and friends and appealed for anyone with information or relevant CCTV footage to come forward.
