Ambulance staff on an emergency call-out had to get out and push the vehicle after it got stuck in mud – before getting a second ambulance.
The motor had been parked on a grass verge but the driver couldn’t back off it.
Two paramedics tried to push it out but to no avail.

The ambulance was responding to a call-out to an elderly woman at the time.
She had to be transferred to a second ambulance that arrived to help the first.
The incident happened in Heworth, York, around 8am on Tuesday (3 Mar).
Witness Craig Theaker wasn’t impressed.
“The ambulance pulled up to help an elderly patient but it got stuck on the grass verge when it tried to set off with her,” he told Need To Know.
“Another ambulance then came to try and help.
“And they switched the patient to the second ambulance.

“Someone brought out some cardboard to put under the wheels at one point.
“Eventually they managed to drive it away.
“I’ve seen other vehicles get stuck on the same verge but this was the first time I’d seen an ambulance stuck.”
A spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust said they had no details on the incident.
