German football star Mats Hummels’ ex-wife has raised eyebrows after posing topless to plug a kids’ cookbook.
The raunchy shot shows Cathy Hummels on her sofa with the recipe book barely covering her left nipple.
She shared the snap with her 689,000 Instagram followers but quickly took it down after a swift backlash.
Former WAG Cathy, 36, wrote: “She is sweet like sugar but without calories.”
She included the hashtags “#hatersgonnahate” and “#mysenseofhumor”, but it didn’t save her from criticism.
One fan reportedly commented: “I like you, but this is absolutely inappropriate.”
Hummels, from Dachau, Germany, penned the cookbook herself four years ago.
After first turning off the comments, she ended up taking the post down altogether.
The actress replaced it with another snap showing her fully clothed on the same sofa with the book.
She tried to save face by turning the new post into an anti-sugar crusade, writing: “Sugar makes you sick!
“Would the highly debated and controversial photo have captured your attention as much if I had just been sitting on the sofa in a tracksuit?
“I don’t think so.”

Hummels was married to Borussia Dortmund and Germany ace Mats Hummels, 35, from 2015 to 2022.
He’s been capped 78 times for Germany and has scored five international goals.
Their son was born in 2018.
