A brave man grabbed a huge STICK to fend off crooks trying to steal his car.
The victim – in a green T-shirt – was standing next to his black hatchback with the front passenger door open.
Two hooded thieves approached him and the pair got in his car.

One of them then got out and said: “Give me your phone.”
To stop him from calling the police for help, he then smashes it on the ground.
The quick-thinking man knocks on a neighbour’s door in Walthamstow, east London.
He shouts: “Help.”
But passing pedestrians and motorists don’t stop.
One of the crooks says: “Move away from the car.”
The man returns with the long stick and the shocked duo backs off.
The victim adds: “Yo help.
“Call 999, call 999.”
One of the men appears to say: “I’ll shank you up”
The shocking moment was caught in a one-minute and 24-second long CCTV footage which then comes to an end.
It happened on Wednesday (15 May) as reported on Need To Know.
Local, Rich Nelson said: “They probably don’t know how to start a car.”

Lubna joked: “Were they stealing the car or marinating it?
“The slowest and weird quick thinking of the owner to fight the armed robbers with a stick deserves a medal.”
Another added: “Slowest car thieves ever.”

Gavin added: “Intelligence always wins.”
Abdul Dawood said: “Can’t have anything nowadays.
“Cars, watches, clothes, phones, you name it somebody else wants it.”
The Met has been approached for comment.
