Idiot tourists who approached a bison with a toddler have been slammed by the photographer who captured the dangerous encounter.
Jennifer Gunderson spotted the family ignoring multiple warnings from other bystanders and walking right up to the large animal.
She caught the incident on camera and shared the clip online, where it has since attracted 784,000 views.

“My husband, Rob and I were about to have our lunch when we heard shouting,” Jennifer told Need To Know.

“We looked over to the gate and saw a few parents with small children making their way towards a bison.
“We shouted with the others, but none of the families responded and kept getting closer.
“To be honest, I was shocked that people would get that close to a wild animal, let alone bring a toddler.”
Witnesses called park services, and Jennifer, a professional photographer for 40 years, decided to film the heart-stopping moment.
While nobody was hurt, she said things could have been very different.
Jennifer, who now focuses on food and product photography after stepping back from weddings and portraits to care for her late mother, said: “We are not responsible for someone else’s safety.
“We are responsible for our own and to follow the warnings that are posted everywhere, as well as in the literature handed to you and at the entrance gates.
“Honestly, it was shocking.
“We’ve had some criticism on my social media as to why we didn’t do anything.
“Many of us yelled at [the people] to get back prior to recording the video.
“We said, ‘That’s dangerous, it’s not a petting zoo, people,’ yet they ignored us and kept getting closer.”
The video was filmed in the Pebble Creek picnic area at Yellowstone National Park, in Wyoming, US.
Since sharing her video last week, Jennifer has received lots of comments from shocked viewers.
Lori said, “These are the very people who spoil it for everyone and get animals killed. Entitled.”

Tina said, “What the hell?”
“I can’t believe people,” added Joanie.
Pauline said: “Testing fate.”
“This should be illegal,” Tamara added.
