An adorable three-legged dog has finally got someone to love her.
The pooch – called Winter – was rescued after worries over her welfare.
She was cared for at kennels but staff realised she had a problem with one of her legs.

It was unclear whether she had been born like that.
Unfortunately, the Pitbull puppy had to have it amputated.
She was renamed Summer and then placed in a loving foster home where she was cared for and comforted through recovery.

The dog quickly became a favourite at the RSPCA Birmingham Animal Centre and Hospital, even wooing one of the inspectors.
The pitbull is now living permanently with one of the inspectors, as reported by Need To Know.
Summer’s incredible journey is part of the Adoptober campaign at the RSPCA.
A spokesperson for the animal charity stated: “Winter was rescued by our inspectors after concerns were raised for her welfare.
“When she came to RSPCA Birmingham Animal Centre and Hospital she had a severe leg deformity, but it wasn’t known whether her leg had been fractured and left untreated, or if she had been born that way.

“Her leg sadly needed to be amputated, so she was placed in a loving foster home where she received the care, comfort, and patience she needed to heal.
“Once she was fully recovered and ready for her next chapter, she was lucky enough to be offered a permanent home with one of our very own inspectors!
“After blossoming into a happy and healthy girl, it was only right that she was renamed Summer.
