A sticky-fingered thief has been caught on CCTV attempting to snatch items from a hotel reception.
The shady suspect was seen leaning over the counter whilst the staff were away from their desk.
Whilst looking out for witnesses, the man toyed with the idea of making his heist.

After returning to the desk a second time, the thief confidently opened the drawer and started rummaging through the items.
Staff at The Coachman Hotel in Kilsyth, North Lanarkshire, Scotland, have now placed a £100 reward to identify the man.
The CCTV footage was captured on Saturday (27 Dec) as reported by Need To Know.
A security camera captured the man leaning looking shady in the lobby around 6:30pm.
According to the hotel, he has been seen on the premises a number of times.
The suspect in a black coat is also believed to be involved in a recent incident where ‘property’ was taken.
A spokesperson for The Coachman Hotel said: “We are asking for the public’s help regarding a person of interest captured on our CCTV at The Coachman.
“This individual has been seen around the premises on multiple occasions and was involved in a recent incident where property was taken.

“If you recognise this person or have any information that could help, please contact us privately via direct message or speak to a member of management.
“A £100 reward for information that leads to a positive identification.
“All information will be treated strictly confidentially.”
Police Scotland has been approached for comment.
