The chilling moment a burglar ransacked a family home while they were out was caught on CCTV.
Footage shows a hooded man carrying a large bag rifling drawers.
The owners’ internal security camera caught the culprit in action.

And quickly leaving after swiping valuables.
An external camera videoed another man approaching the house and setting off a car alarm on the same night.
It happened in Ashford, Kent, at 12.30am and multiple items were stolen.
The owners who didn’t want to be named issued an appeal for help identifying the men.
“Our home was burgled in the early hours of Boxing Day,” they told, Need To Know.
“One young man was seen on CCTV entering the property and stealing multiple items.
“Another man was recorded approaching our car.
“We’re not exactly sure how many were involved but it’s likely there were more than two.”
Locals were shocked by the raid.

One said: “This is terrible.”
Another added: “Hope you are all OK.”

Kent Police has been approached for comment on the Boxing Day (26 Dec) raid.
