A hiker was left amazed after taking a once-in-a-lifetime snap of four rainbows.
Nigel Danson was walking in the Lake District when he noticed the end of several brightly lit rays of light.
The 52-year-old grabbed his drone camera and took a snap of the phenomena.
The quadruple rainbows were shooting out of the natural park.
YouTuber Nigel, from Cheshire said: “I was confused then amazed.
“I have seen many double rainbows before.
“In fact all rainbows have a double albeit faint.
“But to see different rainbows was crazy.
“I later realised it was caused by the sun reflecting off Lake Windermere.
“But it was amazing to see.
“I’ve photographed many, many rainbows and never seen this happen before.
“Nature is amazing and always throws up the seemingly impossible.
“I work as a landscape photographer creating YouTube videos so I see a lot of cool stuff – but this topped it all.”
