Wales is the best place to go to spot a UFO, according to an alien expert
There were 323 cases of possible E.T. crafts spotted over the UK last year.
They were fairly well spread out of the regions.

There were narrowly most in the North West – made up of cities including Manchester and Liverpool – with 41.
This was closely followed by the South East – including Reading, Oxford and Guilford – with 40.
There were 39 in the South West, 38 in East England and 36 in Yorkshire – the previous hotspot.
Next were Scotland with 32 and Wales – famous for having a large amount of sheep – with 21.

Lastly were East Midland, 20, London and the West Midlands with 19 each, just 13 in the North East and only five in Northern Ireland.
But UFO boffins said that because the population is lower in Wales it actually means the chances of seeing one there are the highest.
The figures were compiled by Ash Ellis, a UFO researcher and investigator.

Wales has a ‘Rate of Sightings’ rating of 1.7 compared to the national average of just 1.5.
It works out the number of UFOs spotted per population.
Mr Ellis said: “A notable shoutout for Wales.
“Despite the relatively low number of reports, it actually comes joint-top of the table due to the lesser population of the country.
“Cementing their place as a long-known UFO hotspot.”
“So if you want to see a UFO this year, maybe take a holiday to Wales.”
Mr Ellis, founder of UFO Unidentified and host of Pursuit of the Paranormal Podcast, added: “The ‘Rate of Sightings’ is a mathematical formula based on the population of each region, and country, of the UK.

“This gives us a simple figure, with the higher the figure, the higher number of sightings reported per person.
“We believe this creates a more accurate representation of where you are more likely to have seen a UFO during the year.”
