A woman who mysteriously disappeared while on a camping trip with her dad has been found alive.
Janelle Banda was discovered after authorities conducted a multi-day search.
The 32-year-old had last been seen at about 10:30 pm on 13 June after she randomly walked away from the campsite where she had been staying with her dad, David Banda.

Her disappearance sparked concern due to the perilous environment.
The campsite was set among rocky terrain and a canyon.
Just yesterday (16 June), one of Janelle’s closest friends shared an emotional post on Facebook.

“Please do everything in your power to help find her and bring her back safely,” Alex Hernandez wrote.
“Those who are not in the area, please pray for her.
“Please – all I want is my best friend back.”
Hours later, on the same day, Janelle was found, as reported by Need To Know.
The Coconino County Sheriff Office’s search and rescue team successfully located her close to the bottom of Bear Sign Canyon, in Arizona.
She was found with some injuries, but it is not known how serious they are.
Janelle’s sister Sarah revealed the family’s relief in an interview with Fox10 Phoenix.

Sarah said, “We were like, wherever she is, we will find her.
“Truly, you’re thinking, how do you go, for me, how do I go about without my sister?
“But now that she’s here, I get to appreciate every moment that I have with her even more so than ever before.
“I was told that my dad got to talk to her, and she’s saying that she just wants to see her family.”
Janelle, a former Arizona State University student, went missing after she stayed at a campsite called the Edge of the World, near Sedona, Arizona.
The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office confirmed yesterday (16 June) that she had been found.
It said: “Janelle Banda has been located alive and safe.
“An updated media release is forthcoming.
“This is all the information we have at this time.”
