Officers caught up with the suspected drug dealer and arrested him on 8 Mar, as reported by Need To Know.
The high-speed chase took place through Bolton.
ANPR cameras for the Greater Manchester Police received multiple activations from the cloned number plate.
The vehicle is suspected of being involved in drug dealing.
The man was eventually arrested for failure to stop, dangerous driving, driving without a licence and without insurance.
The motor was searched with cops discovering a knife inside and a member of the public informed cops he had thrown a rucksack over a fence.
The bag was found with 20 wraps of crack cocaine – which led to the suspect also being arrested for possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession of a bladed article.
A spokesperson for the Greater Manchester Police said: “At around 12:20pm the vehicle was spotted and before pre-emptive tactics could be deployed, the driver made off at speed resulting in a pursuit.
“After a short pursuit, the suspect abandoned the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot. Officers chased after the suspect and managed to apprehend him.
