A nurse accused of killing three police motorbike officers in a devastating high-speed crash had just finished a gruelling overnight shift before getting behind the wheel, investigators say.
Corrinne Adrianna Blue, 32, was arrested on three counts of vehicular homicide after Cpl. Luis Paez Jr., 58, Deputy Ralph “Butch” Waller, 54, and Deputy Ignacio “Dan” Diaz, 51, died in the smash.
Authorities allege the nurse had completed a 12-hour night shift before the horror incident unfolded while the officers were carrying out patrol duties on motorcycles.

Investigators claim she was driving at high speed on 21 November 2024 when she ploughed into the deputies, killing all three at the scene, as reported by Need To Know.
Blue now faces multiple serious charges linked to the deaths.
Detectives are also investigating whether exhaustion played a major role in the crash, with the suspect reportedly said to have been “extremely tired” after finishing work.
Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles said: “Following a thorough and complex criminal investigation, it was determined that the defendant committed vehicular homicide.”
Further details emerging from the probe suggest she may also have been suffering from “brain fog” at the time of the collision, although the exact circumstances remain under investigation.

The arrest marks a major development in the long-running investigation, which has spent over a year and a half piecing together the moments leading up to the fatal collision.
Authorities stressed they have not alleged any wrongdoing beyond the driving-related offences, but say they are continuing to examine all factors surrounding the suspect’s condition and actions before the crash.
