Prince William is offering an old chapel for rent on a renovated estate that was once envisioned as a “love nest” for him and Kate Middleton.

This charming building can be leased for £795 per month or £9,540 annually.

The picturesque St Denis’s Chapel, located in Harewood End near Hereford, Herefordshire, offers 1,200 square feet of studio or office space.

It boasts stained glass windows, a cloakroom, and a kitchenette, making it an ideal location for various uses.

This chapel is part of the Duchy of Cornwall estate, which has been associated with the Prince of Wales since it was established by Edward III in 1337 to support the heir to the throne.

When the Duchy acquired the sprawling Harewood End estate in Herefordshire, Prince William was still attending university.

According to Luxury Property News, his father, the future King Charles, had plans to construct a new mansion on the estate to replace one that had been demolished by the SAS in the 1950s.

It was widely believed that this new mansion would serve as a future home for William, within easy reach of Highgrove House in the Cotswolds, where he spent his childhood.

Originally, the estate was thought to be a future residence for William and Kate before they started their family.

However, the couple, along with their three children, now reside in Windsor while maintaining Amner Hall in Norfolk as their first home.

The chapel now available for rent is part of a broader regeneration effort at Harewood Park, a project that Prince William inherited along with the £1 billion Duchy of Cornwall estate when his father became king.

The agents handling the rental describe the chapel as finished to a very high standard, with meticulously restored stonework and stained glass windows. They highlight the light and spacious interior as a truly unique workspace.

The chapel is equipped with a wood pellet boiler, mains water, and electricity, and its drainage system operates via a reed bed.

For over five decades, the Duchy of Cornwall was under Charles’s stewardship. Upon Queen Elizabeth II’s passing and Charles’s ascension to the throne, William inherited the estate, making him next in line to the throne.
